Free Etsy Fee Calculator (US Sellers, 2026)

Etsy takes several small fees from each sale, and they add up. Enter your price, what you charge for shipping and your costs to see every fee and your real profit per sale.

It runs in your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere. The numbers filled in below are a made-up example; change them to yours. Fees are the US rates on Etsy's fee pages as of October 2026; Etsy can change them, so check its Fees & Payments Policy.

How the math works

Example (made up): a $25 item with $5 shipping and $2.40 sales tax. Fees: $0.20 listing + $1.95 transaction + $1.22 processing = $3.37. You receive $26.63. After $6 in materials and a $4.50 label, profit is $16.13. If the order came from an Offsite Ad at 15%, add $4.50 in fees and profit drops to $11.63.

Fees outside the US are different, and there can be other costs (currency conversion, Etsy Ads you choose to run, a shop setup fee in some places). This is an estimate for planning, not tax or financial advice.

Set prices for your whole shop

The Product Pricing Calculator ($7) is a spreadsheet where you list your materials once (cost per unit works out from the pack price), then build up to 30 products from up to 4 materials each plus labor minutes and packaging/shipping. Set your hourly rate, target margin and one platform fee %, and it shows total cost, a price at your margin, 2x/4x reference prices, and the fee, profit and margin at the price you type. Works in Excel and Google Sheets. A pricing aid, not financial or tax advice.

It uses one fee % for all products, not Etsy's itemized fees, so add Etsy's percentages together for that cell and put flat per-order fees in packaging/shipping.
