How we make money

Cedar & Ledger sells its own printable and spreadsheet templates through Payhip and Gumroad. When a guide recommends one of our templates, we earn from the sale. Every guide says so at the bottom. The free guides, tools and worksheets stay free whether you buy anything or not.

Affiliate links

Right now this site has no affiliate links. If we add any later, for example to a budgeting app or a bank, each one will be labeled on the page where it appears, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We will only link to things we think fit the guide, and a commission won't change what we say about them.

AI assistance

We use AI tools to help draft guides, product copy and some template designs. Each page is reviewed and the example numbers are checked before it goes live. Example numbers are made up for illustration. Products made with AI help are labeled where a marketplace asks for it.
